The Hudson River Fishing Association's - Youth Angler Program includes lots of activities and an annual scholarship opportunity.

www.teenanglers.org - The angling community always welcomes new ways to introduce kids to the joy of fishing and a promising program to reach teens has come to New Jersey. The non-profit national Teen Angler organization is starting several fishing clubs in New Jersey middle schools and high schools and hoping the program will take hold and expand in the near future.

WAL-MART Kids All-American Fishing Derby- In 2003, the Wal-Mart Kids All-American Fishing Derby program partnered with community organizations across the country to produce over 1,800 youth fishing events, at which more than 300,000 youngsters enjoyed the fun of fishing. For many youngsters, it was the first time to hold a fishing rod and reel. For nearly all, the derbies provided an unforgettable time outdoors with the family. We would like to help bring a Wal-Mart Kids All-American Fishing Derby to your community in 2004.

NJ OWL provides scholarships to BOW workshops, promotes the BOW program, and offers additional learning opportunities related to fishing, hunting, birding and other wildlife-related activities to help make the outdoors and its wildlife an integral part of people's lives.
