Insurance Coverage

The NJ State Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs offers an insurance program to those members who select one of the insured memberships.

The provided coverage is an excess liability policy for $1,000,000.00. The policy provides liability coverage for damages to person or property while legally hunting, fishing, trapping or target shooting anywhere in the United States, its possessions or Canada.

When obtaining premission to hunt started to become difficult the Federation saw insurance as a door opener for its members. Gaining access to private lands became easier. Being able to provide clear evidence of insurance coverage to a landowner usually results in being able to secure permission to hunt, fish or trap on the landowners property. Carrying insurance demonstrates a member's regard for others and establishes that member as a responsible individual.

A sample of the Insurance certificate can be viewed by clicking here or on the NJSFSC Insurance Policy link below. It details the parameters of the policy listing what is covered and what is excluded. A copy of the certificate as well as an insured membership card is provided to each Insured member.

Safe Hunting,
